wow... ok, so I FINALLY have internet that works again!  grrr to my old set up... yaaay for at&t laptop connect card!  hehe 

so yeah... nothing important to say... just yaaaaay for being back online! 

School started and is going well this year :O) 
I've already got back into making cakes for everyone... and another group to make them for too... more Science ppl and now AVID ppl too... maybe someday I'll get paid for them, instead of paying for everything myself!! 

 ahhh well... summer is almost over (or so it seems!)  and i finally got my internet back LOL  it wasnt anything major, I just kept putting it off, thinking i would end up having to spend tons of money!  :OP  oh well.... 

It seems like I wasted so much of my vacation :OP  I only have 1 week left of unscheduled "freedom"  to work on all the projects i lined up for myself ... oh well!   Danielle has been over a lot working on her stained glass dragon mirror project... and i made a small panel, since I have all the stuff out anyway! hehe  I've got to finish a quit for my Mom (it was supposed to be a birthday present, but i missed that in Feb!! hahaha) and sew a few more things.... 

Then Sara is coming to visit!!  WOOO HOOOOO!!  That'll be fun :O)  Then off to a conference in San Diego for a week... fun school stuff...  then I finally get to visit back in NY!  and TRENT!! :OD  so the end of my vacation is packed.... crazy!

The discovery of a soft drink can with an unusual top prompted the evacuation of a Las Vegas high school while police and firefighters were summoned to check it.

Clark County school police Lt. Ken Young said what had been termed a "suspicious" item at Rancho High School turned out to be a soda can with he called a "fizz top" designed to preserve carbonation.

Campus officials unfamilar with the device summoned authorities just before noon to check it out. No injuries were reported.

By the time the all-clear was issued about 1:15 p.m., classes were done for the day and students were sent home.

another year... same old stuff!  i'm back in school - but the good news is, we are 1/2 way through the year!  Semester exams were this past week... boring & crazy at the same time!  I really really hate grading papers!  I have some great student aides this year, but i still have to read essays - even when I make them easy questions, there are still 200 of them to read :OP  but they are done!  wooo!  

I finally uploaded my Ice Bowl pics (facebook) so if anyone's interested, check that out (but you've probably seen them already somewhere! haha)  I can't belive the bad luck "I caused" the sabres!!  they can't score since I've been in buffalo!! :OP  WTF?!!?!  (except for last night - that was incredible! LOL)  but speaking of buffalo... I had my sabres sweatshirt on at the store today & 2 people commented on it! haha  soo many people out here from back there... small world
